Preemie Clothes

Keira had another weight check at the doctor today,

she sure is a peanut!

She is down to 5 lb 15 oz, so she is on a

high calorie diet.

(the one thing HUGE about her, is the hands and feet!)

 We got a few preemie clothes for her, so she didn't

look like she was completely drowning in her clothes!

Hopefully at tomorrow's weight check, she will have

a few more ounces on her bones!



Getting Settled

Our first full day home when pretty well!

Grandma Kimmy and Grandpa Bo stuck around for a little

bit to help us get going since we were not 100% prepared

for our early little Keira!

Cameron had a rough time in the morning when

he realized Keira was still here. He told Mommy to

"Put her back to bed!" or "Put her in a time out!" when anyone

got to close!

But, at the end of the day he loves her!

There were lots of hugs and kisses!

Cameron's New Room!

We have been working on getting Cameron moved over to

his Big Boy room to make room for Keira!

It's coming along nicely, it just needs a few finishing touches.

It was perfect timing!  The first night in his room, was the

night his baby Sister was born!



 Grandpa J made him an awesome new dresser for his room!

So far Cameron loves his big boy bed, and new room!

Keira's First Check-up

Keira had her first check-up today!

She is doing amazingly well for a "36 weeker"!

She had slight jaundice, but after some blood tests,

that is almost gone!

We have to go back for a weight check on Thusday since

she fell to 6 lb 4 oz.  She is a peanut!

Speaking of a peanut, you call these "newborn clothes"?!

She is swimming in everything!

Keira's Coming Home!

Since Mommy and Keira were doing so well, they only had

to stay 1 day!  They were excited to get home!

Introducing Miss Keira May

Born on 9/25/11 at 6:10am

6lb 12oz, 19 1/4 inches long

We were so excited to know that a little girl was joining

our family!

After being in up all night in pain, and a REALLY quick

trip to the hospital and delivery, Mommy was tired!

 Hi Daddy!

Mommy and Daddy were very surprised she decided to

show up a little over 3 weeks early!

A special thank you to Cousin Julie for waking

up early and bringing me to the hospital so I

could be the first to meet my baby sister!

I was a little unsure at first, but she was all I could

talk about after I met her!

Flashback Friday!

My first night at home!  12/24/08

I heard Santa doesn't come unless I'm asleep! 

Tubber Fun!

I told Mommy that I didn't need any help washing

my hair today, I wanted to do it myself! I did a pretty good job!

I didn't want to wash my hair with shampoo, just bubbles!

Mommy also got out some new markers that work on

the bathtub! So FUN!

We spent a lot of time in the tubbers tonight! 

Camping Day!

Mommy decided to take me to Grandma and Grandpa's trailer

one more time before my baby brother or sister comes.

 MmmMmm... Camping dinner!

I love to eat outside, and I love circle corn!

 I got really dirty playing outside all day, I was full

of sand and dirt and sweat!

Good thing there is a tubber at the trailer!

Mommy was not going to let me get in my clean bed

with all that dirt on me!

Reading to Daddy

I really like reading to Daddy!

I might not know the words, but I make up stories

based on the pictures. We really have fun!
