Henry Vilas Zoo

It was such a nice day in Madison, we decided to

to head in town a little early and go to the zoo before

the kids went camping!

Madison has a wonderful (and free) zoo!

Plus I knew it had a few animals that Cameron read

about in his books, and really wanted to see!

Cameron said that he would "teach" Keira all about the

animals, it was so adorable listen to him!

The Macaws were a hit.  Cameron remembered them

from his book!

There was a carousal at the zoo... and I went on the ride!

I really, really, really don't like them!

The Polar Bear!

Cameron got "The Little Polar Bear" book from the

library and loved it!

We had a great day at the zoo!

T-Ball Practice!

Grandma Kimmy brought the kids a t-ball set so

Cameron can practice before t-ball class this June.

Daddy tried to get him all set and squared up

to the ball!

Keep your eye on the ball, Cameron!

Christopher had an awesome birthday party at the Family

Tree Haus.  We love that place!

It was great to let out some energy!

Keira knew exactly where we were, she ran right

to her play house!

They are really starting to play together, it is so

cute!  They even stop for hug breaks!

It was a little chilly, but sunny today!

We got our the swings and put them on the

swing set. It was chilly, but nice!

 

 

It was good to just get outside for a little bit,

and get some fresh air.

 

They were having so much fun, they did not

want to come in for lunch!

Hipefully soon it will be warm enough to spend all

day enjoying the sunshine!

Target Practice

Cameron got a new toy, a Nerf Gun!

 

 

He asked Daddy about 23974 times in one night

 if he would make him a target!

He is getting pretty good!

He is really good at the rules.  We only shoot at targets!

Cameron says "or deer" if one comes in our yard!

Easter Dinner

 After a Great Breakfast, we took a ride to Madison

for Easter Dinner!

Keira and Great Grandma were cracking each other up!

It was so sweet!

Time for the Egg Hunt!

Since there was quite a bit of snow on the

ground, it was set up in the basement.

Keira decided that moving the furniture around was easier

than actually bending over to look for eggs.

She is so funny!

Both kids have small noses, so glasses don't really stay on

them very well! Keira would get frustrated they would not 

stay on her face!

Easter Breakfast

We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa J's house

for breakfast and an egg hunt!
